Cynthia Delia Coddington

A New York native, Cynthia lives in the Boston area with her husband and enjoys spending time at their cottage in Maine. Being an empty nester and now retired, she indulges her passions - studying the Italian language and pursuing her interest in all things culinary.

Prior to becoming a cookbook author, Cynthia spent over 35 years in the financial services industry working with Coopers & Lybrand, David L. Babson & Co, and eventually establishing Coddington Financial Partners.

Cynthia is a Certified Public Accountant and holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner and Personal Financial Specialist. She is also a Managing Director with Golden Seeds, a nationwide network of angel investors dedicated to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.

Cynthia has been a cited financial expert for national and business trade publications. Worth Magazine and Mutual Funds Magazine have chosen her as one of the nation’s top financial advisors.

 
 

Josephine Provenzano Hoppe

Born in Brooklyn, Jo spent her professional years in the Boston area. She and her husband now live in rural Maine enjoying the fruits of retirement. Having spent her career in left brain roles, she now has the luxury of exploring right brain capabilities that have laid dormant for years. These include cooking and gardening, studying Italian, writing, photography and community volunteering.

Prior to retirement, Jo was a Technology Executive serving as CTO and CIO for market leading companies in the Life Sciences, Software, Internet, and Publishing Industries. In these roles, Jo was the recipient of numerous awards for excellence including MIT’s CIO Award for Innovation. Her background included extensive experience with acquisitions and large-scale corporate mergers.

As a recognized leader in her field, Jo has been featured in numerous publications including CIO Magazine, Computerworld, Publishers’ Weekly, The Seybold Report, Upside Magazine – Outstanding Women in Technology, Mass High Tech, and Boston Women’s Journal.
