An Annual New England Culinary Book Awards

Established 2016

Recognizing Jasper

On May 11, 2024, we lost a dear friend and icon of the Boston culinary scene, Jasper White. The New York Times celebrated his incredible impact as the chef who “lifted New England cuisine” and “mentored a generation of Boston-area chefs.” Among those lucky enough to call him their mentor, Readable Feast’s own, Annie B. Copps, shares her personal reflections, and in this episode of the podcast, Let’s Talk About Food, co-founder Louisa Kasdon pays tribute.

Jasper White was the inaugural recipient of the Readable Feast’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
